Previously code-named G4, Cape Clear 4 features three integrated products: Studio, Server, and Manager.
Studio is designed to offer a productive environment for designing and developing Web services. Server provides the technology required to integrate and deploy large-scale Web services with diverse back-end systems and technologies such as Java, J2EE, CORBA, Microsoft .NET, IBM WebSphere MQ, as well as packaged applications such as SAP. Manager offers tools to control the configuration, deployment, and security of large-scale Web services deployments.
Cape Clear 4 delivers a range of new features, including enhanced performance and security, support for JMS and MQ-based Web Services, and new Web services management capabilities, along with improved developer productivity and testing. These new features reflect the feedback from Cape Clear’s customers as they extend the deployment of Web Services.
Cape Clear 4 is available immediately. Studio, Server, and Manager are available on Solaris, Linux, and Microsoft Windows. Pricing starts at $10,000 per server.
