“Jim Gargan, IBM’s vice president of eServer xSeries, said that
beginning in two weeks, IBM — in collaboration with Intel
Corp. and Microsoft Corp. — will target a
‘hit list of Sun’s largest accounts’ to convince them to switch to the
new IBM systems, which were unveiled Friday.”

“IBM enhanced its eServer xSeries lineup with new servers built
around the Intel 900MHz Pentium III Xeon processor.”
