InternetNews.com 2010 CEO Vision Awards

Who are the most visionary leaders in the technology industry?

It’s time again for the InternetNews.com CEO Vision Awards, our annual list of the top 10 tech CEOs who have exhibited extraordinary foresight and leadership in bringing important new products and services to market and/or have moved the industry forward with new technology initiatives.

Vision is an especially valuable commodity in these challenging economic times where companies are being forced to do more with less. Hard decisions need to be made in terms of R&D investments, personnel and marketing.

Past winners have included Apple’s Steve Jobs, Cisco’s John Chambers and Oracle’s Larry Ellison, though nominations should certainly not be limited to those who garner the most media attention. For example, other past winners like Zach Nelson and Evan Williams, may not be in the spotlight as much, but were well-deserving of the award for the visionary leadership that vaulted their companies (NetSuite and Twitter) to great success.
