Introduction:
Just like a whole lot of other people I have to do my exams for W2K. Not the
most funny part of the job, but there’s no escape. I was very glad that Microsoft
gave us the opportunity to do a accelerated exam. So I looked around for the
study material and ran into the book which I like to review here.
The book:

I was very glad that Microsoft gave us the opportunity to do a accelerated exam. So I looked around for the study material and ran into the book which I like to review here.
Not only the weight of this book is pretty impressive, but also the topic it
handles. The book covers the core exams (70-210, 70-215, 70-216, 70-217). Every
chapter starts with a chapter opener where they give the objectives, which are
handled in that chapter. The author gives also a good explanation of the objectives.
After the outline the author gives you a advice on the study strategy. The chapter
it self is very clear and gives you many tips and tricks and warnings. In the
last part of every chapter there is a case study where you can apply the content
of the chapter. Further on there are a few questions, which cover the content.
In the last part of the chapter there is a good “suggested readings and rescources”
What I like the most:
What I like the most about the book is that there comes a CD along with the
book. On this CD there is a part of the book in a electronic document. These
are referred through the book as the step by step. These are explanations of
how certain things must be done. So with this you can make two books out of
it, one; the hard copy part is mostly the theoretical part and two; the E-book
is more practical. So, in my opinion is this book a very good tool to study
for the accelerated exam, I know it is a lot of material to study, but there
is a lot that you already know from the NT4.0 exams and study. I wish everybody
the best with the preparing of the exam and hope that I give you a good tip
for a proper tool.
