“Maybe Sun wants us to blame it on Rio. Scott McNealy and company are staying
mum about Sun’s Brazil project these days. Brazil, which Sun describes as an
“experimental Web application-development environment,” started out as a
small-footprint HTTP stack designed to build a URL-based interface to smart cards.
But Sun abruptly cancelled a briefing about Brazil’s progress last week, barely an hour
before it was scheduled to start.”
