EDGE IP – Threshold Networks is the first company to integrate DNS, DHCP, and IP management services in an appliance form factor. By not charging a per-IP licensing
fee, EDGE IP makes a strong case against using traditional software-only DNS solutions. All records in EDGE IP are stored in a centralized database, and IP networks can
be managed using either domains or sub domains. The EDGE IP DNS server appliance further distinguishes itself with its ability to coexist with legacy systems in most DNS
environments, making the normally daunting task of migrating to a new DNS relatively simple.
