          I listed
a site that I found in my last article,  but I have found one specific tool
that I think is pretty cool.

          It is
called Memory Boost Pro.  I got it from a shareware site, but it looks like
you might actually have to pay for it eventually.

         Here are some
of the highlights:

  • It manages memory
  • Cleans up unused areas for contiguous space
  • Frees up swap space that is being hogged by processes

          I have it
installed and have found that it is actually doing what it says.  There is
a simple front-end that you can learn your way through quickly:

          Notice on
the left side of the screen there are buttons for selecting through the
options.  One of the cooler of these is the Crash Protect:

Another interesting one is the Optimizer, which looks like:

There is a small icon in the system tray that allows you to select options
more quickly.  From here, you can also run through the Optimizer Wizard, which
will look similar to the following screens:

          What’s
really cool is that if you get a little panicked about the changes that you have
made, you can just Undo them by starting the Wizard again.

           The
site where you can get more information about this product is:

you have any good shareware sites or tools, let me in on them.
