Folks, I wanted to first take a moment to thank all of you for your feedback on your Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 installations. I really enjoy hearing how many people have problems that seem to dwarf mine... Anyway, I hate to say it, but most of the feedback I have gotten has been from people who have had problems with this service pack. Although, I doubt most people would be reporting that they had successes.

Anyway, I hate to say it, but most of the feedback I have gotten has been from people who have had problems with this service pack.  Although, I doubt most people would be reporting that they had successes.

I heard from a couple people that mentioned that they had problems with Exchange, and then I had a gentleman by the name of Scott Kuhne send me a link to an article entitled:

Win 2K SP2 and Broken Exchange 2K servers

The direct link to this article is:

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/19105.html

These guys have a whole slew of articles about SP2.

Also, I received a mail from a gentleman named Andrei Zhakarov explaining how he was having problems with an ODBC issue after he upgraded.

It seems that he is having some difficulty with the integrity of the DSN's and MDAC after the upgrade....

I'm not too sure on that one, but please keep all of the feedback coming in -- I enjoy reading about your experiences.  If you have a  distinct problem that you've found a solution for, let me know -- knowledge transfer can really help out a lot of people.
