Dell Monday announced that the National Football League (NFL) has contracted with the hardware vendor to install Dell servers and Dell-EMC storage systems, exclusively, during the next 12 months.
Based on the agreement, the NFL will install Dell servers in its attempt to offer reliable and consistent communication between the league and the teams.

Dell has also been selected as the official computer systems provider for Super Bowl XXXVI, which is scheduled to be played Feb. 3 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
For the Super Bowl, Dell PowerEdge 6450 servers will process game day statistics and manage behind-the-scenes tasks. The NFL will also use Dell computer systems in the temporary offices that the NFL will establish in New Orleans in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.
