The new version 5.2 release offers an improved browser-based interface and includes a new server evaluation package for Solaris. Interlink Networks, a developer of software that controls user access to networks, announced the latest release of its RAD-Series carrier-class RADIUS authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) server. The Interlink Networks RAD-Series family of servers includes the RAD-E Enterprise Access Server for enterprise networks with support for 802.1X security for wireless LANs, the RAD-P Access Policy Server for large scale service providers with support for advanced policy and custom configuration, and the RAD-R RADIUS Server for Internet service providers (ISPs) of all sizes. RAD-Series version 5.2 additions include a new server evaluation package for Red Hat Linux and Sun Solaris and enhancements to the web-based AAA Server Manager. These interface enhancements include easier installation and set-up, support for configuring nine authentication types (Allow, Deny, Proxy, File, EAP (MD-5 and LEAP), Password, SecurID, Oracle, and ProLDAP), and tools for performance tuning. Customers with current maintenance plans can receive a free upgrade to v5.2. Information about Interlink Networks' maintenance contracts can be obtained by contacting the Sales Department at sales@interlinknetworks.com or calling (734) 821-1228.
