A friend of mine went to the Office XP introduction and
forwarded me the following information:
Office XP (Office 2002) Versions:
Standard: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Professional: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access
Professional + FrontPage: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, FrontPage
Developer: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, FrontPage, Developer Tools
Changes to expect regarding Versions of Office XP:
Office Premium will no longer be offered. Office XP Professional + FrontPage is the closest to Premium.
Office Small Business Edition will no longer be offered.
Publisher will no longer be part of the Office Suite, it will be sold as a seperate application.
Office XP Features: (to mention a few...)
Smart Tags - Click a key word, such as a Name or Stock Symbol, and an associate profile is opened for additional information.
Universal Clipboard - Copy up to 24 different items to the clipboard, and then scroll through to paste at a later time.
Task Panes - Available through the Office suite, as a pane to execute most commonly used features.
Speech + Handwriting Recognition - Use speech recognition to select menu's, toolbars, dialog boxes...
Application Auto Recover - Automatically saves current document if a crash occurs.
SharePoint Team Services - Sharing information through a web site.
Enhanced Custom Installation Wizard for creating transform files.
MST Viewer to view custom changes applied to an MSI file.
OPS files still supported for customizing Office XP menus...

Retail Edition: DOES NOT support the setup /a or setup /q, the Custom Installation Wizard, or the Custom Maintenance Wizard
OEM Installs: Registration is required. After 3 installations, you must contact Microsoft to activate additional installations.
Volume: Enterprise install for deployment of Office XP
