Now we have all heard of the looming doom of Office XP and what it will mean to the remainder of our lives as administrators.  In my mind, IE 6 will offer more of a challenge, as it will inevitably bring on the IEAK that will have to incorporate the new technology that XP has been introducing to us.

Now we have all heard of the looming doom of Office XP and what it will mean to the remainder of our lives as administrators. In my mind, IE 6 will offer more of a challenge, as it will inevitably bring on the IEAK that will have to incorporate the new technology that XP has been introducing to us.

IE 6 has been described by Microsoft as "a set of core technologies from Office XP".  Doesn't it always make you laugh when an application install is more complicated than the operating system that it is running on...

IE 6 will introduce to us a new way of browsing the web that is in line with the Office XP look.  It will be getting away from the old fashioned Windows tree look that we have all been so used to.  While this may intimidate some people at first, eventually you will see that it is all for the better.  Keep in mind that for you weak minded and easily intimidated people, you will have the ability to revert to the "old look and feel" in your new XP experience.

Although I am not looking forward to the task of packaging and deploying this monster, it is being touted as the easiest of the browsers to date for deployment.  This I will have to see to believe.

Take a look at the following link to get the beta download and some more information from Microsoft on this "new aged" browser.
