Canto Introduces Web Publisher Pro
Canto Thursday released Web Publisher Pro, a new product that lets users publish catalogs and market digital assets on dynamic Web pages on the Internet. Canto this week released Web Publisher Pro, a new product that runs on Solaris and lets users publish catalogs and market digital assets on dynamic Web pages on the Internet.
The new Option is based on the Cumulus Java Classes and JSP technology and is especially designed for users who not only publish assets but intend to use them for marketing and generating business. It is compatible with Cumulus Workgroup Edition and Enterprise Edition.
Web Publisher Pro is designed to create dynamic Web pages that let visitors search for images and other documents within Cumulus catalogs using a standard Web browser, which they can sort and select and place into a collection basket for download.
Web Publisher Pro is designed to be an out-of-the-box solution that is flexible and customizable using high-end HTML editors. The product features integration with Macromedia Dreamweaver through the use of Custom-Java-Tags and support for online references.
Web Publisher Pro is based on the Cumulus Java Classes and JSP technology. Web pages with very high traffic reveal the strength of this Java technology, as response time becomes extremely fast.
Web Publisher Pro is immediately available with English, German, and French user interfaces on Solaris, Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows platforms. It is priced at $1,495, per server installation and is available from a Canto sales partner or in Canto's eShop.
