Interlink Networks introduced v6.0 of its RAD-Series RADIUS authentication, authorization, and accounting server. The release introduces a variety of new features, including the capability to select server customization levels at different price points.

The RAD-Series server also supports plug-ins, or modules, of user-developed features.
The carrier-class software is designed to deliver high-performance AAA transaction rates of up to 1,000 transactions per second, and provide high reliability with fail-over, load balancing, and redundancy features. Earlier versions of the RAD-Series AAA servers are installed at thousands of major service provider locations worldwide.
Priced from $2,000, the RAD-Series servers are available on Red Hat Linux and Sun Solaris platforms. Customers with current maintenance plans receive a free upgrade to v6.0.
