OEone Releases HomeBase for Red Hat Users

OEone Corporation announced the launch of its fully-integrated, Mozilla-based, operating environment software for Red Hat Linux users. According to the company, HomeBase DESKTOP is an operating environment that incorporates a range of Linux applications to manage information and increase productivity. Built to run on Red Hat 7.x, HomeBase DESKTOP is designed to provide Linux users with a seamless integration of word processor, calendar, multi account e-mail program, entertainment features and more. OEone Corporation launched its Mozilla-based, Operating Environment software for Red Hat Linux users that incorporates a range of Linux applications to manage information and increase productivity.

Also available is OEone's bundled package, HomeBase SUITE which provides the DESKTOP software, the Red Hat operating system and a one year subscription to HomeBase ANYWHERE.

A complement to HomeBase DESKTOP and HomeBase SUITE, is OEone's HomeBase ANYWHERE service which provides back-end support for desktop systems. With 100 MB (or more) of storage to back up and secure data files HomeBase ANYWHERE may enable access to files from any internet connected computer. The service also provides users with technology that allows for the synchronization of documents, e-mail, calendar and more.

The company says that its platform is designed to harness the strength of the Linux OS, the Mozilla Browser, the Apache Web Server and other key Open-Source technologies, and strives to integrate these components into an Operating Environment that is fully accessible to all users with an easy-to-use, Web-based Graphic User Interface (GUI).
