NEC Servers Optimize Database Applications

NEC Corporation of America (NEC) announced that Edgenet has deployed the NEC Express5800/A1080a-D high-availability server to address the growing demand for its product information portal, Ezeedata. As noted by NEC in its news statement, Microsoft's SQL Server 2008 R2 running on the NEC Express5800/A1080a-D high-availability server hardware was an excellent fit to improve scalability and flexibility.
