Apache CouchDB Powers Couchbase Server

The merger of CouchOne and Membase resulted in the NoSQL database company Couchbase, which announced in a press release presented on Marketwire, the release of Couchbase Server. The server is powered by Apache CouchDB, the world's most widely deployed NoSQL database technology. CouchDB supports more than 1.5 million users as the core database behind Canonical's Ubuntu One cloud service.
