IT Managers Incorporate Open Source Software

In a survey by Gartner of 547 IT managers, over 50 percent report they have incorporated open-source software (OSS) into their IT strategy. According to Channel Web, although 21 percent are still weighing the pros and cons of open source, 46 percent use it in departments or projects where OSS is strikingly appropriate.


Gartner survey shows increased use of open source software (SS).
