This week in data center management news IBM announces it has entered into an agreement to acquire BigFix and ADC will feature comprehensive data center solutions at Cisco Live 2010.
"Citrix Systems announces that the company has signed with immixGroup's Government Channels Division, making Citrix the first end-to-end virtualization technology solutions provider to join the largest provider of government channel programs for technology companies.
"Fireman's Fund Insurance Company is offering a 5 percent discount to policyholders with Energy Star buildings in the latest expansion of the firm's green insurance coverage.
"Voltaire Ltd. announces that the Tokyo Institute of Technology has selected Voltair's 50 Gb/s InfiniBand switches for Japan's first 2.4-petaflop supercomputer, incorporating numerous green technologies.
"ADC announce it will feature comprehensive data center solutions at Cisco Live 2010, during which the company will display versions of the ADC-APC Integrated Cisco Data Center Solutions that are part of ADC's green data center portfolio which features solutions designed and manufactured for passive airflow improvement that reduce cooling and power requirements."
