Composite Updates Server Virtualization Platform

Composite Software has announced a new version of its Composite Information Server Data Virtualization Platform. As mentioned in this Information Management report, the updated platform includes a broad range of updates from a new discovery product to expanded access.

"Updates include: Composite Discovery 2.0, an enterprise data entity and relationship discovery tool used for preparing data models and performing intelligent queries; an intelligent adapter that allows SQL developers to access to Oracle Essbase; Composite Monitor, a new management console; and Composite Information Server, which adds support for NTLM and Novell E-directory security authentication enhancements and a number of new optimization algorithms."
