VM6 Software has announced VM6 VMex 2.1, its suite of offerings that, according to the this CTO Edge report, can automate many of the management challenges associated with virtual servers based in Hyper-V virtual machine software from Microsoft.
"Version 2.1 includes tools for accessing and managing shared storage, high availability options, the ability to manage distributed sets of virtual machines under a common management framework, and the ability to set a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) deployment in a way that supports low-latency applications."
