CSC has launched its CSC Dynamic Server product, enabling enterprise clients to acquire server, storage and network services on-demand. As noted in the company's news release, CSC Dynamic Server is designed to be delivered in multiple ways: In client data centers as a private cloud platform; in CSC data centers as a private cloud platform; and in CSC data centers with multi-tenant capabilities to optimize cost.
CSC says its new Dynamic Server product enables enterprise clients to acquire server, storage and network services on-demand.
"Features of the platform include robust security, a Web browser interface that permits clients to select from multiple operating systems, choice of CPU and memory size, and integration with existing electronic procurement systems that leverage clients' purchasing policies and procedures. Complete with automated provisioning capabilities, Dynamic Server enables clients to select, order and receive infrastructure services in a matter of minutes."
