Double-Take Offers Full Server Replication Software
According to Double-Take Software, Double-Take Availability for Linux Version 4.6, provides customers with full-server capabilities to their entire source server. The news story, published on CBR.com, also says that the company claims the full-server replication protects the OS, application and data files to another server, and allows users to recover data on demand.
"Double-Take Software has released Double-Take Availability for Linux Version 4.6, which provides businesses with full-server protection and allows users to protect data, applications and the entire Linux system including operating system and application files.
"According to Double-Take Software, the product conducts real-time, full-server replication, which protects OS, application and data files to another server, and allows users to recover data on demand in the case of a server failure or data loss. The software also expands support for Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for versions 9 and 11."
