According to a recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive tech workers are again confident about the economy and the data center center jobs. This correlates with recent findings on the employer side. CIO Update explains.

A recent survey from Harris Interactive reveals a 'sharp rise' in technology employees' confidence related to the economy and the IT jobs market.

IT workers expressed surprising confidence in the strength of the economy and job availability in a new study released this week, signaling optimism about the sector's prospects and the market for IT jobs.

The Technisource IT Employment Report, based on a survey conducted in the U.S. by Harris Interactive, concluded that although many parts of the economy are still in the doldrums, IT employee confidence is at the highest level it's been in more than three years.

"The marked increase in confidence this quarter tells us that technology workers may be in a more solid position for the economic recovery compared to other industries," Michael Winwood, president of technology services provider Technisource, said in a statement.
