What We Do

For more than a decade, ServerWatch has provided server administrators and other data center professionals with in-depth technical and business insights by focusing exclusively on the information needs of server pros. The site relies on the journalism expertise of its editorial staff and the knowledge of industry experts provide analysis and reporting on the latest news and trends as they relate to the data center.

Opinions and product coverage of everything pertinent to servers, including virtualization, server hardware, server software, server operating systems, open source and data center management can be found on ServerWatch. Other topics frequently encountered on ServerWatch include cloud computing, power and cooling, security, storage and mobile management.

In addition, ServerWatch strives to provide comprehensive product information through our buying guides, reviews, product lists, and how-tos and tutorials.

Our Editorial Calendar

Who We Are

Paul Shread, editor in chief of the IT Business Edge Network, and technology media veteran Forrest Stroud oversee ServerWatch.

Drew Robb is a freelance writer specializing in technology and engineering. Currently living in California, he is originally from Scotland, where he received a degree in geology and geography from the University of Strathclyde. Drew is the author of Server Disk Management in a Windows Environment (CRC Press).

Sean Michael Kerner is a senior editor at InternetNews.com, the news service of IT Business Edge, the network for technology professionals.

Kenneth Corbin is a freelance writer based in Washington, D.C. He has written on politics, technology and other subjects, most recently as the Washington correspondent for InternetNews.com, covering Congress, the White House, the FCC and other regulatory affairs.
